- No personal attacks, harassment, or insults directed at any individual, including staff or other families.
- No defamatory claims — statements presented as fact about a school, individual, or organisation that could harm their reputation and cannot be substantiated.
- No sharing of another person's private or identifying information without consent.
- No discriminatory language relating to nationality, religion, race, or any other protected characteristic.
- No spam, advertising, or commercial solicitation outside of approved channels.
Every post passes through an automated language filter before publishing. Posts containing flagged language are automatically hidden and queued for human review before they can appear publicly.
GlobalCompass reserves the right to remove any post, at any time, that does not meet these guidelines, without prior notice. Repeated violations may result in a contributor losing posting access entirely.
Posting requires a verified GlobalCompass account. Anonymous posting is not permitted, so that standards can be properly maintained across the community.
GlobalCompass operates from the United Arab Emirates, where publishing defamatory or false statements about a person or organisation can carry legal consequences for the author, regardless of intent.
